GR-3C humanoid robot

Overview

GR-3C is the commercial variant of Fourier Robotics' GR-3 Series, announced in October 2025. It shares the GR-3's core dimensions and joint count but replaces the expressive eye display with an LED ring-screen head, adds a reinforced aluminium and engineering-plastic shell, and supports full-body teleoperation with real-time remote motion mapping. It targets industrial and commercial deployment rather than social interaction.

GR-3C stands 165 cm tall, weighs 71 kg, and has up to 55 degrees of freedom, per the official GR-3C spec diagram published by Fourier Robotics. Single-arm load capacity is 3 kg. Battery runtime is 3 hours average with a hot-swappable battery. The perception system includes an RGB plus structured-light camera module and a four-microphone array with sound source localization. The head features an LED display for expressive interactions — a different design from the GR-3's dual eye screens. The shell is reinforced aluminium and engineering plastic, distinguishing it from the GR-3's softer consumer-oriented casing.

GR-3C supports optional 12-DoF dexterous hands and full-body teleoperation with real-time remote motion mapping — capabilities not listed for the standard GR-3. The head module is upgradeable with alternative camera and microphone configurations. Fourier positions the GR-3C for industrial assembly, remote inspection, and commercial service scenarios where durability and teleoperability matter more than social expressiveness.

GR-3C is part of Fourier's GR-3 Series alongside the GR-3. Fourier published the GR-3 Series brochure in October 2025. The dual-path AI architecture — fast rule-based responses for simple commands and a large language model for complex contextual interaction — is shared across the series. No public pricing is listed for GR-3C; contact Fourier directly. Fourier was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Shanghai, China.
