Overview
AGIBOT X2 is a compact humanoid robot designed for embodied AI research, human interaction, and light-duty applications. It combines a high-DOF bionic body with multimodal interaction capabilities including vision, voice, and touch. The platform emphasizes agility, expressive motion, and autonomous task execution within structured indoor environments.
The X2 is a half-size humanoid robot standing approximately 131 cm tall. The standard X2 weighs approximately 35 kg; the X2 Ultra weighs approximately 39 kg. Both have 25 degrees of freedom including 3 waist joints and 1 head joint, per AGIBOT's official product pages. Payload capacity is 3 kg maximum in specific postures and 1 kg or less across the full range of motion, excluding end-effectors. Battery capacity is approximately 500 Wh on both variants, with a runtime of approximately 2 hours at 0.5 m/s walking speed. Both support direct charging and swappable batteries.
The standard X2 includes a basic interactive RGB camera and touch sensor. The X2 Ultra adds an NVIDIA Orin NX compute module, 3D LiDAR, RGB-D camera, front binocular RGB camera, rear monocular camera, and a 4G/5G communication module. The X2 Ultra also supports optional accessories including OmniHand dexterous hands, OmniPicker adaptive gripper, VR teleoperation, and an auto-charging dock. The standard X2 does not support these end-effectors.
AGIBOT positions the X2 for entertainment, commercial reception, exhibition guidance, and research and education scenarios — not industrial manipulation. The AimDK framework provides Python and C++ APIs for secondary development on the Ultra variant. Pricing is not publicly listed on AGIBOT's store; the product page directs buyers to contact customer service. AGIBOT is headquartered in Shanghai, China.
