Overview

Unitree H2 is a full-size humanoid robot platform targeting research institutions and developers working on embodied AI, manipulation, and dynamic locomotion. It builds on the H1 with significantly higher degrees of freedom, dexterous arms, and an expanded sensor suite.

According to Unitree’s official spec sheet, the H2 stands 182 cm tall (1820 x 456 x 218 mm) and weighs approximately 70 kg with battery. It has 31 degrees of freedom: 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 in the waist, and 2 in the head. Maximum leg joint torque is 360 N·m; maximum arm joint torque is 120 N·m. Arm payload is rated at 15 kg peak and 7 kg continuous. The frame uses aircraft-grade aluminium, titanium alloy, and high-strength engineering plastics with industrial-grade crossed roller bearings at each joint.

The H2’s base compute is an Intel Core i5. The EDU variant adds a second compute board (Intel Core i7) and an optional high-power module — Unitree lists NVIDIA Thor as one available option. The standard sensor suite includes a Unitree L2 4D LiDAR (360° × 96° FOV, 30 m range), a wide field-of-view binocular depth camera, array microphone, and speaker. The battery is a 15 Ah / 0.972 kWh lithium pack at up to 75.6 V, rated for approximately 3 hours of runtime. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are standard. OTA software updates are supported.

The H2 is listed for purchase at $29,900 on Unitree’s official shop, excluding tax and shipping. The EDU variant, which includes secondary development access and a 12-month warranty, is priced on request. The standard H2 carries an 8-month warranty and does not include secondary development access. Unitree is headquartered in Hangzhou, China.
