Overview

MenteeBot is an AI-first humanoid robot platform developed by Mentee Robotics for autonomous industrial labor and embodied intelligence applications. The platform combines autonomous navigation, dexterous manipulation, multimodal perception, and large-model reasoning capabilities into a general-purpose humanoid architecture optimized for warehouse and logistics environments.

MenteeBot stands 175 cm tall and weighs 70 kg, with 40 degrees of freedom and a payload capacity of 25 kg, per Mentee Robotics' own published specifications. Top walking speed is 1.5 m/s. The hands use motor-based tactile sensing. The current V3 platform uses dual NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX processors. A 360-degree vision system combines head-mounted sensors, a rear camera, and fisheye side cameras. The hot-swappable battery system supports continuous operation across shifts without downtime.

Mentee Robotics describes its core technical approach as deep vertical integration across hardware, embedded software, and AI — all developed in-house. Locomotion and task policies are trained via Sim2Real, with simulation training designed to transfer to hardware with minimal additional fine-tuning. The company's 'mentoring' concept refers to teaching the robot new tasks through direct human demonstration rather than teleoperation. In 2025, two V3 MenteeBots completed an 18-minute unedited autonomous warehouse task, moving 32 boxes across multiple rack heights, per Mentee Robotics' own documentation.

Mentee Robotics was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in Herzliya, Israel. The company was co-founded by Amnon Shashua, the founder of Mobileye. Mentee Robotics announced it has signed an agreement to be acquired by Mobileye, per menteebot.com. No pricing has been publicly disclosed. MenteeBot is not available for general purchase as of mid-2026.
